Motor Equipment Operator (MEO)
Rate of Pay $27.39 - $30.57
The Town of Parma is accepting applications for Motor Equipment Operator (MEO). Duties include operating snowplow and snow removal equipment necessary for cleaning and salting of roads, operating motor equipment, lawn mowing equipment, sewer experience, and light mechanic duties. Performs manual labor tasks such as raking and shoveling asphalt or topsoil, drainage work and paving related activities. Special Requirements: Possession of a valid New York State Class B Commercial Driver’s License/Permit (CDL). SEEKING PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEMBERS
The Town of Parma is currently seeking applicants for both Planning and Zoning Board.
Zoning Board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.; duties include but are not limited to, reviewing applications for special use permits, hearing and deciding appeals/interpreting matters and authorizing variances as deemed appropriate.
Planning Board meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.; duties include but are not limited to, reviewing, approving/disapproving site plans and subdivisions, reviewing development proposals and making recommendations to the Town Board.
